For the month of January, the Museum of the Great Wars is doing its second annual basket raffle at Annie's Thrift Store. This year we have six amazing baskets to choose from: Super Bowl party basket, dog owner basket, cat lover basket, tool basket, movie night basket and a second amendment basket!
Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Drawing will be the end of January; you do not need to be present to win. Last year we raised slightly over $2,000, let's see if we can beat that this year!
The Museum of the Great Wars is proud to announce the addition of our first home, a 2006 12x60 school building. This building has been brought over to the lot on the corner of Butler and Van Nuys, where we will begin rehabbing it through the summer. We are aiming to ground set it in the fall and the building will give us a place to do presentations, displays and an office for the Museum of the Great Wars.
